What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

I like that I can remotely access laptops, desktops (both Windows and MACs), and cellphones. It's helpful that when I remote into any device and have the right admin access, I can do almost everything. I also appreciate being able to use GUI or PowerShell commands, which allows me to see almost everything if the session isn't cut. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

There are some bugs at the moment to elevate the session or post-connection if the device is off for a couple of minutes. I would like a reconnect option using the same session, meaning if the connection is lost, it's necessary to create a new session. It would be nice to have a reconnection button. What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

This tool is very easy to use and manage, and the documentation provided is extremely thorough. I rely on bomgar daily to remotely access machines for troubleshooting and testing custom scripts. The ability to implement canned scripts has proven especially useful in my environment. Customer support to our users makes it very streamline. What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?

Wish when creating a support ticket, they would respond a little faster.

Hopefully they can do PIV passthrough more seamless

The chat functionality is excellent and genuinely helpful for end users. As an IT engineer, I appreciate that every remote action is logged and auditable, making it straightforward to review what was done. The menu UI design can seem a bit outdated although functional. Users may also feel that there are too many pop-up windows and prompts to click through before they can get to what they need. Beyond Trust Remote Support software is evolving to be better than ever. The new features that are being released are a direct result of end user support groups webinar, where users can talk about issues, suggest new ideas, and even talk about issues found. Beyond Trust has been improving the product to be more user friendly and this is a result of using suggestions from the user clients. They have added features that are evolving to streamline with the most modern of computing today. The special user group meetings are another great function that allows the clients to learn about new features that will be released and even the road maps that in future releases. The UI feels a bit dated and stale. The documentation also leaves a lot to be desired, especially when you’re standing it up or trying to implement new features.
